Ultimate iPad Pro Desktop Setup - DIY - Files Available
#woodworking #cnc #ipad
I made this premium looking keyboard holder/mouse pad and iPad holder with stand out of teak and oak, as I couldn't justify paying for the Apple iPad Magic Keyboard which cost almost as much as another 'iPad"... I'll have the file available as soon as possible on my website. If they are not linked below, please check back in a couple of days...

    How did you add those dimensions into the plank at 2:09?

    • @maconSTUFF
      @maconSTUFF 7 днів тому

      Those are just loop cuts I added to give the plank some more geometry for the displacement modifier which I added next. If you press 'Ctrl R' it will add one loop cut, then just scroll up with the scroll wheel to increase the number of loop cuts and left click to confirm... hope that helps...

    Hi Macon, I love your series of videos on your restoration. Extremely helpful to me. I am starting my own journey on restoring my own organ that I have had stored since I was a ten year old girl. 50 years later I now have the space and time to attempt it. I noticed you have some borer holes in the wood surrounding the bellows, have you treated this insect with anything? I have quite an infestation. Many thanks Leonie

    I had a similar experience with my machine. I purchased from a different Chinese company with similar customer service. The language barrier was there, but they really do try. I found a set of 12 ton machine moving dollies from Vevor available from Amazon and are they ever solid. The crate they came in was impressive enough, and the wheels only cost me $250 Canadian dollars. It made moving the machine around the shop so easy. My machine arrived in a crate that was damaged, but the machine itself was fine. You had a lot less assembly to do. My machine arrived with the gantry not attached and laying strapped down on its side. This is the third machine I've purchased from LintCNC and the first needing the gantry installed. It's not a huge issue, but surprising. I needed to use an engine hoist to flip it upright and positioned on the rails. They said they do this so that the rails are not damaged in shipping, so anyone who is planning on purchasing a machine should ask the seller if they will need to install the gantry. Other than you having a Blue Elephant with DSP controller and mine a LintCNC Mach3 machine, they pretty much seem to be the same machine.

    Great job! For the sound, it might be the leather belt covering the 7 holes of the pump. Instead of leather from both sides that belt if made in double layers the upper layer is leather and the base layer facing the 7 pump holes is made of soft silicone.

    You should be using hot hide glue, it's traditional and it means the work is reversible as the bellows will eventually leak and need replacing again in years to come. I've been restoring organs and harmoniums for 10+ years and would never use anything else.

      Hi man... well I'm still running it with that original cable I connected without a ground, and so far I haven't had any issues> I did however ground the machine as I was getting light shocks when touching the machine while it was running.

    • @iulianpascal1
      @iulianpascal1 3 місяці тому

      @@maconSTUFF I sort it out, right there where the black cable is coming out, is a black cover fixed by 2 screws. Open that and you will see another little screw with a red mark which is the place where you should connect the underground wire
